National Testing Agency (NTA) released a notice on September 3rd, 2019 regarding the Change in Exam Pattern of JEE Mains 2020.
According to New Exam Pattern, there will be 25 questions in each paper (Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry) with 20 MCQs and 5 in the Integer Type format which has to be solved in 3 Hours. Each question will be of 4 Marks and there will be negative marking for MCQs (+4 for Correct Response and -1 for Wrong Response). There will be no negative marking for Integer Type Questions.
Though, the Integer Type questions have no negative marking, there might be a chance that answers may contain decimals, so you have to be very careful while answering. This will put an end to all guess work and test the true merit of an student.
Integer type Questions on OMR Sheet
Here, we have presented an IIT JEE (Advanced) OMR design with Integer type Questions. In this answer sheet, there are three sections with 60 questions in total. Each section has 20 questions. The first 10 questions are the typical MCQs and the last 10 are Integer Type Questions.
In normal MCQs, the candidate is provided with four or five options. However, in integer type questions, the student is provided with at least 10 options, as in the sample sheet provided here. In case the answer to the question is a single digit number, the options present are from 0 to 9. This way, the students have ten options to choose from.
The Integer Type Questions can also be presented for answers that have two digit numbers. In this case, there would be two rows of digit from 0 to 9. Here, the students would get 99 options to choose from. You can take a look at the Integer type of Blocks with the sample provided here.

Great piece of information.
